I’m a sister. I’m the oldest sister. I have a brother 4 years younger than me and a sister 10 years younger than me. I’m not a great sister, but I’m getting better.

Family

My brother is married and has a new baby. We speak every once in a while, but not that often. It’s sad, but we don’t have that much in common.

My sister and I on the other hand, have an interesting relationship. She and I didn’t speak to one another for close to 20 years. Things happened last winter and we started speaking again. Now, we get together at least once a month and if we can’t hang out, we skype.

Even though she is 10 years younger than me, she has her life together better than I do. She has been through a lot and has come out the other side a stronger, sweeter, loving person. I’m enjoying getting to know my sister.

Sister of my Heart

Sisterhood comes in all shapes and sizes. You don’t have to be sisters by blood to be sisters of the heart. My best friend is my sister of my heart. She is an amazing woman. She has been through hell and back multiple times and is stronger than even she knows. I love her more all the time.

Brother of my Heart

My best friend and I have a brother of our heart as well. We don’t get to see him very often, but we love him all the same. Every time we see him, it’s like he never left. He has a big heart and it gets him in trouble. He wants to help the world and people take advantage of him because of that. He is one of those people who will drop everything to help you no matter what he is doing or what time of day it is. He’s amazing.

The Missing Brother

There is one other brother who is sorely missed. He was my best friend and my brother for many years until he passed away. I still miss him and think of him often. My grandson was named for him. He was a great man. He had his faults, but he loved life.

Future Brothers and Sisters

I have room in my heart for new brothers and sisters. They won’t replace the ones I have now. My heart is large enough to add a whole tribe of brothers and sisters. I’m looking forward to making acquaintances, friends, and siblings. I want my tribe to grow into the millions. I want to touch the lives of everyone around me with positivity and creativity.

Do you want to be a part of my tribe?
